Commercial Litigation
Commercial Litigation is a broad term which encompasses dispute resolution on a wide range of commercial matters where we act for businesses. It includes such things as contract disputes, disputes involving the provision of goods and services; intellectual property disputes including actions for breach of copyright, trademark disputes, passing off, and design rights. It can also include such things as disputes over software contracts, and hiring of goods contracts from telecommunications systems to office photocopiers. A full list of matters we have dealt with for clients over the years is too long to set out in full. It is difficult to provide fixed-price fees for these services as our client’s requirements are highly varied as between individual cases. However, such disputes are handled by our litigation team headed up by Andrew Isitt, a consultant solicitor with over 30 years exeprience exclusively in litigation and dispute resolution. His hourly rate is £300 plus Vat at 20% Shanaz Gota is a solicitor within the litigation team. Her hourly rate is £250 plus Vat at 20%. Laura Romney is a trainee solicitor based int eh litigation team. Her hourly rate is £150 plus Vat at 20%. We will give you our best estimate of costs at the outset of your matter once we have agreed a strategy for the case with you. As always our aim is to provide you with sound commercial advice at a reasonable cost, whatever the nature of your legal problem.
